$60,500 raised for FSR - OACIP still looking for sponsors
The Academy of Financial Services was thrilled that Financial Services Review (FSR), our Diamond Open Access, double-blind peer reviewed academic journal, was selected by Lyrasis as part of their 2024 Open Access Community Investment Program (OACIP) earlier this year.
Lyrasis is a leader in open technologies, hosting, data-migration, content licensing, and community supported software programs for libraries, archives, museums and research organizations worldwide. FSR was one of eight journals selected to be highlighted in 2024 for support and funding for the next 3 years.
A big thank you to the libraries that have already stepped forward this year and confirmed sponsorship. We are currently at $60,572 and only require another $8,500 to hit our 3 year funding target.
We are still looking for 3 universities at $1000/yr for the 3 years!
This support will help solidify AFS's decision to make Financial Services Review a Diamond Open Access journal, meaning that there are no fees paid for submission, article processing or access to the research we publish. This will also maximize the exposure of a researcher's work, ensuring maximum citations.
If you are interested in finding out more about sponsoring FSR through OACIP, you can share this document with your department or the library of your institution.
