For the past two decades AFS has published the Financial Services Review and the Copyright of all research submissions were transferred by the author to the Academy of Financial Services. Thanks to the Financial Planning Association who have sponsored AFS and acted as Co-Publisher for much of that time. This policy remains in force until the publication of Volume 31 Issue #2.

Starting Volume 31 #3 AFS is moving to a new Diamond Open Access licencing and copyright structure. Author(s) retain copyright and grant the Journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License that allows to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this Journal.

This license allows the author to remix, tweak, and build upon the original work non-commercially. The new work(s) must be non-commercial and acknowledge the original work.
