Announced May 27, 2025

Friday, 13 June 2025 |   | 9:00 – 11:00 am AEST Zoom

Seminar Topic

Join us for a thought-provoking discussion on the gap between financial advice for the affluent and financial therapy for those in crisis. Our speakers will shed light on the "missing middle" and share insights on how researchers, policymakers, and practitioners can help build a more inclusive financial support system.

Speakers

Dr Bomikazi Zeka, Associate Professor in Finance and Financial Planning at the University of Canberra, is dedicated to breaking down barriers to financial education and advancing equity in finance, especially for women, people of colour, and older adults.

Dr Amanda Craft, Associate Lecturer at Western Sydney University, explores the intersection of financial regulation, cross-cultural psychology, and behavioural finance. Her work reveals how cultural and institutional dynamics shape financial advice relationships and regulatory outcomes.
